Switzerland set to burn more trees to reach its climate and energy goals (…what?)

This article explains very well why the burning of forests for the production of energy, which all governments and the EU are strongly proposing as sustainable and hence a great solution to the climate crisis, is just as “Alice in Wonderland going down the rabbit hole” solution.

It’s total madness, only irresponsible children with no clue about the repercussions of their action could keep on claiming such lies. Yet our governments, including a supposedly serious one like Switzerland, keep on pushing deep into this madness. Just like they did 30 years ago with diesel cars, which were sold as “clean” and instead brought us more air pollution which killed thousands and thousands more citizens worldwide.

I really fear for our future and of our children, if we will now be forced to endure for another 30 years of lies the ever-increasing winter wood burning for heat, plus the burning of wood for the production of (NOT!)-“sustainable” energy and the increasing summer wildfires, we will see such a deterioration of the Air Quality around us and such an huge increase of illnesses and deaths because of it.

How can politicians and bureaucrats be so irresponsible and short-sighted, even criminal? Will we be able to stop them? It seems that there is no hope of halting this fast dismemberment of Democracy. It’s so sad and angering to see all this happening in front of our eyes, yet no one lifts a finger.
