Jupiter and Saturn (almost) meet in the sky

A photo that I could not take two days ago, when Saturn and Jupiter were at their closest point, because of a cloudy sky. It does not matter so much, I took it today.

There are 9 planets (or 8 if you consider Pluto only a dwarf planet) in our solar system. Only one has all the right conditions to allow life to flourish on it. Earth, our Home.

– We should not take our Home for granted;

– we should not take the Ecosystems that sustain us for granted;

– and we should not take the perfect balance between the atmosphere’s gases – what we call Clean Air, for granted.

We must therefore act in order to reduce and eliminate Air Pollution, which kills 8,8 million people/year and reduces life expectancy by 3 years.

Air Pollution is now the world number one environmental threat to our health and causes more premature deaths than any natural disaster or wars or illnesses such as malaria and HIV, and even of COVID-19. This doesn’t have to be.
